Notice of motion to the respondent for 07.03.2019 to show cause as to why proceedings for contempt be not initiated against him for having violated the order dated 09.11.2017 passed by the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Ludhiana, whereby, bail bonds furnished by the petitioner were accepted and he was ordered to be released.
The reply/compliance report be submitted within a period of ten weeks from the date of service of notice with an advance copy to the counsel for the petitioner, failing which, the same shall be accepted by the Registry on payment of `2,000/- as costs to be paid to the petitioner. Copy of this order be sent to the respondent along with the notice.

ज़मानत हो जाने के बावजूद जेल सुपरिंटेंडेंट ने 4 दिन बाद जेल से रिहा किया जिसमें  जेल सुपरिंटेंडेंट पर Contempt of Court का केस लगाया गया|

इस केस में जेल सुपरिंटेंडेंट को नोटिस भेजा गया और कहा गया कि अगर अगली तारीख पर जवाब नहीं आया तो जेल सुपरिंटेंडेंट को 2000/- रु. का जुर्माना लगाया जायेगा

Affidavit on behalf of respondent No.2 is filed. Copy given to learned counsel for the petitioner. It is stated that the petitioner was not released as he did not have any knowledge that the petitioner was on bail in the case in which he was produced vide arrest warrants. It is further stated that he was released as soon as the said fact was communicated to him.
Admittedly, the petitioner was in the same jail in both the cases.
Accordingly, the respondents are directed to produce the register with respect to the entry and release of the petitioner qua both the cases.
List on 10.4.2019.
A photocopy of this order be placed on the file of other connected case.
